Untrue.
Without fail I take 858 at least twice a week. At Jln Kayu, yes
around 10 pax would alight, but many will transfer to 168 which
always tend to appear behind!
This was before TPE stop. Now, only 1-2 pax alight. Sometimes
none at all.
For Jln Kayu, theres always 168 -> 858. Works too, anyways
it's a seamless transfer at TPE and would have close to zero
effects.
Jalan Kayu mainly have transfer passengers.. who want to change
from one service to another... there are hardly any residents
living near this bus stop.
So I agree, it makes sense for 858 to skip this stop and let pax
transfer at TPE stop instead. But LTA will not want to even upset
those 1-2 pax. IT is very cowardly and does not take bold, good
decisions on existing services.
