254/255/257 loads can easily cross 100 pax.. Why no BSEP yet or even fleet add from SBST side... Totally ignore the JIS area.

In spirit of Express buses getting DDs... today 3635A on sv 174E.... Is this first appearance of DD on 174e? Spotted at 6.58pm at Clarke Quay MRT stop.

174e receives double-deck appearances for multiple times already since a few years back, but not a permanent arrangement.

Duties 190AP26 190AP27 190AP28 have been added quite a long time ago..

These 3 duties is not necessary,All they need is convert 3 SD to DDs and cut 1 split to full day.

looks like it's becoming a trend to introduce DDs on express services.. Good that SBST knows to increase the levels of comfort especially when you are paying the price for the express svcs

Should upgrade whole fleet with DD. Passengers paid more than any normal ones, should be able to cover for the profit drop(if any)..

Dont think need full fleet but Half of the fleet should be converted to DDs yes the expensive express fares will recoup the losses of the empty seats but still it's not very productive if u convert the whole fleet to DDs.

If you see 190 loads.. u will know it would be good to have full fleet DD... even load between Chinatown and Orchard is good... likewise load between BPJ and CCK.. but does not need 42 DDs... good with 39 DDs full fleet DD.

i like see 518 get more double decker. more need than 506. i think give 506 double decker so that more peop start use it. i see often along uec and bedrok, 506 go empty but no same case with 518. 513 also do well but dont think full day got potential.

Suspect SMRT side has also added DDs to sv 960 on perm basis.

My comments:

Excellent decision given sv 2 buses are full almost throughout the day, even off-peak, this is one service that has high loading.

I recommend sv 14E to get 1 DD, 30E to get 1 DD and 196E to get 3 DDs. The loading on all these three has gone very high and you can see people standing till the door, especially for slots where it reaches Suntec/CBD at around 8.20-8.40am

4 DDs added to sv 67 - 5037, 5038, 5039, 5040. Now sv 67 has total 6 DDs in its fleet. Some people in Tampines should be very happy =)

For a start im more than happy...969 also need another 5 DDs..Perhaps 3 Amdep bendy slots can transfer to Wldep.

Surprisingly BSEP did not transfer 2 AMDEP BSEP slots to KJDEP to upgrade to DD.

Yeah quite suprised Amdep BSEP didnt go but did you check it out?Probaby the Amdep 2 Bsep went over?Amdep have to wait till 2017/2018 went it move to Seletar to get DDs or temporaraily have to do roof jobs?
