Somebody reported seeing 8006S on 804 today..

Suspecting 8002 to 8004 is AMDEP 804..but any idea which bus doing which slots?(Especially the 804x806) Thanks

You mean for Wldep?If for Amdep sure cannot bro cause they need to refuel and bus wash first at Amdep before ONP,even the pump island roof also not 4.5m high

the problem with smrt and lta is that if smrt have planned properly for this AMK depot it should be not a problem having a DD bus top up there in the depot just remove roof and rebuild it to a higher roof should have no problem. also the DD bus after top up can park at yishun temp interchange for next day service. SMRT is not prepare for DD bus at all. it have been force by LTA to buy them as they cannot have too many bendy buses on the road or else public will complain. i think it stupid to give way for car owner complain just to remove bendy bus from city area. why must alway give in to the rich guys? who own the car.

AMDEP was built when TIBS just started with just the few bus routes. The bendies only came in the late 90s. TIBS also do not have the means to get a bigger depot until much later.

Artics started service in early '96. WLDEP was commissioned in mid '98 and was in full swing by the time SBS got the NEL contract.

only 160 (now 980) and 167. TIBS had to borrow bus from SBS, where some were SBS-plated but in TIBS livery.

The only available space is at Woodlands Bus Park,Kranji and Ang Mo Kio cannot afford to spare parking spaces for these long buses unless they transfer some buses to Wldep
