Not really a regular of sgforums but would really appreciate if some advice is given ....
One mth ago i started to get on more gd terms with a ger but we were casual friends for abt 2 years . During this one mth , we would go out for movies , dinner and other stuffs . I thought that the green signal is on cause during meals she would like feed me and i would feed her sweets ... etc
Then a few nites ago , i told her that i really like her a lot and perhaps would it be possible to take our friendship to the next level ~ but she tells me that " Dun you think its a bit too fast ??? " I agree with her so i told her that perhaps we should be friends first and give each another more time
Never did i know its going to be the end of everything cause she starts to avoid me and never reply my sms *sign
I dun know the reason for it but it may be cause i am not physically attractive enuff cause my weight is like 88 although my height is like 175cm ....
so the question is

(a) shld i just let it go ... treat everything just as like it never happen Or
(b) go on a diet casue i look presentable when i dun look fat , after which let her regret for her decision
(c) go on a diet and use all ways and methods to make her feel touched , let her know i do everything just for her and then after which dump her ~

Hai~ actually i feel like just forget everything but i feel real sad ... i dunno whether if i got the wrong signals but y cant we still be friends ???
Anyway its been 2 days since i went on a crash diet and my weight has dropped to 84Kg~

it can be your appearance, or it can be something else; the feeling is very important, unlike guys i think girls dont mind fat boys as much as guys minding fat girls. Confused

maybe she still treat you as a friend and did not expect that from you. i think shes just not interested.

I wont say i love the girl a lot but i do have feelings for her but unfortuntely things turn out this way ..... and for the diet thinggy i tried eating as little as possible and i go for a swim 2 times a day , each time say ard 20+ laps ~
so i guess that shld be fine

if she's attracted to u , she is. No need to go on diet de =) Spoil ur body only. Everyone got this mentality that if we get more handsome/pretty , the opposite will fall in love with us , but that's not e truth. Think this way , if she likes u cause u are handsome or slim , there might be more ppl out there who are more slim and fit and handsome. She will change target then . No offence to u , but i tink that's e most honest opinion i can give here. Afterall , its the chemistry that counts. There are more "Trees" around ! Trust me Wink

Agree with what u say , i agree that chemistry is important but seriously everything's perfect until i asked her THAT question .... Would u be attracted to someone whu does not look physically attractive , would you like to get to know more abt the more attractive half or the later .... a penny for ur thoughts pple ~ the world's realistic , y do models have to be tall , gorgeous , beautiful , hunky or Handsome ??? you cant do the same thing with a kind heart

Why don’t u people encourage him to slim down and give it a try? I admit some gals did mind their other half too fat or unfit look which is a obstacle to stop them loving u! Even u slim down and she still reject u,slimming down will be good for yr health. But I think yr slimming method is no good! U just need to eat 3 meals and keep yr body enough nutrients but say no to junk food like supper and tea-break. Go gym instead of swimming,cos it will burn fat faster.Do plenty of abs exercise and weight lifting. Go for track mall too!!! Most important,u must have enough determination to go on for diet. Mental power to slim down is important!

Go to the gym will build up more body mass especially weight lifting , unless u are telling me to go to the gym to cycle , tread mill or other stomach exercises . i dun like to run so swimming is the best alternative cause it uses every part of my body .... and yes i do believe love has to do with appearence
Eg ... do u think a taller girl will fall for much shorter guy , a beautiful woman will go out with an ugly person without first knowing how the person's character is .... Yes i do believe my way of diet is unhealthy but i only have a aim .... dat is to slim down as much as possible in the shortest period of time and i do believe i reduce to say ard 75 in less than 2 weeks ~

Don't try to act holy..... I admit I'm shallow,if a gal is obese,i will not woo her.But if my gf after follow me for 2-3yrs and very good to me all the times but become obese on the way,I will still love her !

Don't u dare to say that appearance totally have no effect on decision to woo someone? (10yrs older,125kg,1.6m only????) U may post a yes to my reply but at the end of the day,the person u r cheating on is yrself and not us....But definitely I need to add on something,character of yr partner is very important! A chio bu but so ,so character and a average looking gal with good character,I will not hesitate to choose the good character one!

Come on,u need to abit of look to unlock her rejection on the first place,then once enter the r/s state then the guy can build on love state where he can really pour in all his love for her and acc with action like buying her favourite gift,taking care of her when she is sick to prove his worth and letting her overcome the appearance obstacle if he becomes obese or bad look again...

As what I say,I will not mind my future wife or long-time gf become obese becos our r/s has build up,her tender and care i will always remember..... If u again ask me to woo a obese gal,I will still say 'no'
