You already have 972 as 971E's full day variant, off
peak/weekend demand is mostly to Orchard only, no need go to
Shenton Way.
Svc 700's demand seems to have dropped after 972 introduced,
demand likely will fall further when DTL2 opens in 2016. Suggest
972 merge with 700 in future, loop around Senja/Segar/Fajar then go
down to Petir Rd before entering BKE from Dairy Farm Rd. Operation
like existing 700/A, towards Shenton Way until evening on
weekdays/until afternoon on Sat, then loop at Suntec at all other
times. 75 or 184 can be amended to ply Petir Rd/Dairy Farm Rd
instead of Cashew Rd, to provide the direct connection between
Petir Rd and Bt Panjang town centre.

with direct link to Boon Lay (currently x-fer to 172) and Woodlands

alternative to 925 between Kranji Ind. area and Kranji
MRT/Woodlands
-provides public transport link to farmhouses in Kranji/Neo
Tiew, where people working there currently rely on private
transport
-Both Boon Lay and Woodlands Int currently v. crowded, after
some JIS move out from Boon Lay to Joo Koon Int in future, this svc
can start from Boon Lay and loop at Woodlands
-Svc no. can be 406 if operated by SBST, or 955 if operated by
SMRT
Instead of merging 700 and 972, better to extend 700 to CCK
interchange via Keat Hong, CCK ave 6 and 4. 100+ HdB buildings
coming up in this region that deserves trunk service apart from
feeder.
