Pros : Gives Workers/Travellers from CGA travelling home to have a public bus service home during the wee hours home rather than hiring a cab which has midnight surcharge. Also, there arent any niteowl services along lorong ah soo, tampines road, Lor Chuan, Pasir Ris, Changi Airport

Cons : Might not receive high demand. Bus engine cannot switch off as by the time the bus goes back to depot, it is almost the time for public bus svcs to be running. Also, it does not cover 858's route in any way

My source was correct that 38x is reserved for Punggol. sv 386 launched as Punggol feeder.

9 may be better utilised during PM peak from Bedok to Tanah Merah

Cons

2/9/24/31/222 needs to take more pax to Bedok MRT during AM. 9 at that stretch usually have the least pax due to it terminating at Bedok Int. As most of the other services there are quite full when they reach that stretch, 9/35 will pick up the remains. Even with the remains, a DM struggles to clear the pax there. Without 35, 9 will have an even harder time clearing the remains there.

This seems like a good express route to get into CBD and beyond. Plus caters to some of the highly dense areas and utilities within the East. If such a route is implemented, for sure need DDs in peak direction, SD in opposite direction.

- Serves Tampines Industrial Park A (St 92 area) and also improves utility of svc 18

- As a sector of Tampines St 92 is unidirectional, the loop inside Ind Pk A has to be clockwise in both directions. Hence red and white plates will be used for svc 18.

- There used to be a peak hour svc 68 that plied Tampines Ind Pk A which was withdrawn due to low demand, so I am uncertain about the loading if svc 18 is modified this way. The suggested route can also be numbered 18M which only operates during peak hours.
