* Bold Italic show edited route with new stops and
existing stop shared with only one service today
* Advantage: Provide trunk service to the condos/HDBs within
Kembangan/Chai Chee and connection to Bedok/Kembangan MRT
* Current route of sv 26 highly duplicated and mostly used only
as an alternative
* 2 BSEP fleet add (Citaros) with this change. Total fleet size:
16 buses with frequency 12-13 mins from current 14-16 mins.
Revisit of Svc 26 extension originally posted by me, amended by
BA.
TPY - LYDEP (R/W Plate system)
Present day sector from TPY to Sims Ave East
Above amendment till Chai Chee St
(Revisited sectors below)
Bedok North Ave 1
New Upp Changi Rd/East (Bedok, Tanah Merah, Upp Changi MRT, ITE
East, STUD)
TPE
Loyang Ave
(Towards Loyang)
Loyang Ave, Lane, Way, Dr (Depot)
(From Loyang)
Loyang Dr, Way, Dr (Depot), Pasir Ris Dr 3, Loyang Ave (Yes, it
pass LYDEP twice towards TPY)
Technically, it is like Svc 2, but section it divert from Changi
Rd is at Kembangan/Chai Chee instead of Upp Changi
Add an additional service to STUD/ITE East via 24's route. This
is to help 24 cope with forseen loadings that will rise when STUD
is operational. Also, if 26 arrives first, airport pax can board 24
instead of squeezing in with ITE/STUD pax.
Add a faster way from Tanah Merah MRT/STUD to Loyang area. This
amemdment of 26 also connects STUD with a stop along Loyang Ave,
where many Pasir Ris and beyond services call at. STUD pax can
choose to change service at that stop.
Add a service to the south-west area of Loyang Industrial
without adding a service from Pasir Ris or Tampines
Remove a service slot at Bedok, freeing up space for one more
potential service.
