pax down the route from Orchard esp Scotts Rd & Stevens Rd still cant board due to overcrowding. prob could be due to bus bunching. So no point for all trips to start from NBR. its good to reschedule alternative trips to loop at say Dhoby Ghaut and call this 190M.

there are already downroute starting from YMCA.... what they need is to add more buses.. or LTA should let SBST operate part of Sv190 as well... with additional 10-15 DDs.

sv190 have 26 bendies before DD was introduced, right now, it have 21 bendies and 9 DDs (including 3 BSEP DD), so how much capacity that SMRT added to sv190 for the past 6 months? They should have long replaced those rigids with Bendies and DDs and yet those rigids are still running on sv190..

On this I agree that SBST have the capability to handle the load.

I Believe that either those bendy buses are up for retirement, or they deploying it to other high demand svces. Infact, they don't just focus on 1 svc though.

So I rather wait and see instead of letting SBST taking part of 190 first..

In simple words, they simply do not know how to deploy their buses.....

Agreed that the LTA and the SMRT do not know how to utilise their limited DD now. very often you will see three empty DD running empty in the direction towards CCK around 10plus am. Wherelse City bound direction having MAN buses with ppl standing at the door steps

- Connects Geylang/Upp Boon Keng residents to Stadium and Changi Airport

- Plys Kallang Airport Way/Ave as well as Stadium Road/Drive, to serve other areas of the National Stadium/Sports Hall that 11 do not serve currently.

- Connects Haig Road to Changi Airport and National Stadium

- A faster alternative from Marine Parade to Changi airport than 36.

Cons:

- Duplicates 31 and 36.

The route for 952 doesn't work. There is no way you can turn into stagmont ring from woodlands road if you are coming from woodlands, unless you make a U-turn. Plus, the road at stagmont ring is just too narrow. Buses have problems turning into and out of stagmont ring.

Smrt has given bulk of its dds to 963 as they intend to make it WAB faster. I am pissed off that LTA took in so many dds to just keep it SP. Rather should have let smrt register those dds and deploy on sv 190 and other needy services.

969 also managed poorly by smrt. I still dont get why 985 being a long trunk has no high capacity buses. Peak hours totally packed.
