Then svc like 225 type renumbered as trunk svc and extend by
another 8-10 km..240 and 334 justified cause of the number of
distance and traffic lights timings.241 although short distance but
the timing coming out from Interchange is quite long.
If you see 240 it is more of an intra-town like sv 913... where
you have people board along Corporation to Lakeside and then Boon
Lay Place to Boon Lay Interchange... people take it for short
distance.. yet upper deck full.
If you observe sv 334, most people alight at Jurong Polyclinic
and before.. who board at Jurong East Interchange... Upper deck
always full
241 maybe small and again connecting both Boon Lay and Pioneer
MRT but upper deck always full
Same goes for 179, 243, 181 - all these are like feeder routes
with full upper decks.
There are lot of ppl who also like to go to the
upper deck even if it is for
short distance. Example: my kids when they take bus they will
always want to go upper deck.. and not be on lower deck and
sometimes I have to shout coz distance is only 2-3 stops. When go
to school, will always sit on upper deck for 3 stops.
