You have only known him for two months and you already know he was not honest with you? About what? How did you find out?

One doesn't mean to probe, and you don't have to give any answer. But since you've already admitted that you could be jealous and possessive, not to mention with the shadow of a previous failed relationship hanging over your head, perhaps it may be better to ask yourself:

"If he had told me the truth, would it hurt me less or hurt me more?"

If the trust is already not there two months into the relationship, it is unlikely there could be any more trust another two months down the road.
