FeowFeow SG Depends on how long you intend to stay there. If you plan to spend more than 2 days, it's better to go to KL, there're more things to do But since you're gonna be on long leave, why don't you visit both places? Think there's a bus you can catch from Genting down to KL? FeowFeow
Mao x 2 SG Yeah... I thought it was Bon Jovi singing.. hahaa.. just kidding.. The live band is fantastic. Btw, the breakfasts over at the Irish Pub is really nice.. Especially the bacon, roasted tomato and sausages that my gf is having.. Mine is not bad too.. Bacon Bomb.. It's a baked mushrooms and tomatos wrapped around with lotsa bacons and a big potion of delicious mashed potato..
FeowFeow SG Most welcome Ask her to get jeans from JeansWest, it was 1 of my favourite places to buy jeans as a student. And there's also a shop along Swanston Street past Collins Street called Dotti. That's the place where we students used to buy tops for $10/- each & they were very nice designs, Not like your typical HDB kinda ah lian ah huay quality. For the most gorgeous hair accessories, your friend can try looking at Hair Additions along Swanston Street (past Collins Street). I bought a few very CHEAP hair accessories there that can't be found here & are bold & unique. I adore them to bits! If she's a jewellery junkie like me, she shouldn't miss the best jewellery chains there: Prouds, Dunklings (or Angus & Coote) & Thomas Jewellery In every country I go, I always like to get jewellery unavailable here. At that time, I bought 9K gold, because I've Not seen those here. Unfortunately, I didn't bring them back with me FeowFeow
Mao x 2 SG Yeah... but gonna watch my budget though... The next 2 months gonna burn a big hole in my wallet..
FeowFeow SG If there's such a thing But then there must also be the comfy bed, the socket to plug my HAIRDRYER, etc FeowFeow
FeowFeow SG Oooooh, the Bacon Bomb sounds absolutely DIVINE!!! *mouth watering* Do they only serve it for breakfast, or it's available all day? FeowFeow
FeowFeow SG KL is better suited then, I think? Going on the rides at Genting will cost you more than if you guys had satisfying meals in KL I think there're also service apartments in KL, so if you have a friend with you, it can help defray the costs FeowFeow
Mao x 2 SG Hahaa.. you are just like my gf.. She also will die without aircon and a comfy bed.. luckily it was kinda cooling at night because of the thunderstorm.. But in the day... you should know lah..... it's freaking hot like oven in the tent. Most of time would prefer to stay out of the tent in the day.. Going for cycling or play pool in air-con place.. Hmmm..I'm still thinking of whether to get the inflatable mattress..
pinkygal76 SG FEOW MEI!!!! wat hanky panky!!!!!!!!!........i only wave my pink pom pom as a token of thanks.... ...... and use my lightly embrodiery pink HANKY to wipe his sweat away before i alight from his car hor.... ....
Mao x 2 SG I'm not too sure about that.. But it's on the breakfast section of the menu. But the rest of the food sound mouth-watering too.... I would like to try that salt n pepper squid or grilled lamb kebab.. and Irish stew. yummy yummy...
