Can someone explain why am I feeling this way?

no actually I'm a pianist but I started off with the guitar but had a rather short interest span on it sad to say. But after listening to this band called X Japan , I guess my interest in guitars and drums have resurfaced Very Happy

I also want to learn MIDI recording but that's definitely gonna cost a bomb buying equipments and stuff like that as compared to taking up photography which ain't that bad....

Really meh? you like singing too! thats good. singing is an enjoyment even kids like! You can try learning guitar. I learnt classical guitar for a year plus at yamaha and stop cause of brokiness of a student. sad I will continue after my singing class. but maybe to acoustic guitar now. classical take 5 years, I will be so old liao man!

The first few months after breakup is indeed miserable when weekend is approaching and there is no plans and no calls from friends. You just need time to re-adjust yourself and just try not to think too much as in who to go out with. Think abt what to do on Saturday and Sunday. Be it going out with friends or doing something else alone, make sure that ever weekend will not be put to waste.

you mentioned you like photography, guitar? save up and take a course on it, or get a friend to teach you, practice on your own...

learn to enjoy your own company, I know it's difficult. I find lonliness difficult to cope with too... but Ultimately we are alone in this world... so must get used to it sooner or later...

i guess its in the mind. somehow you got this thing dat saturdays are meant to be spent outside..with frens..wif gf etc..n nv alone..

weekdays are already occupied if u r working or studying...i used to be like dat..kick up a fuss when i have no plans for saturday...desperately finding pple to go out with me..even if it meant doing things i dun like...but wats the point right?u go out to enjoy urself mahx..

now i have learnt to spend time alone...juz doing nth...hibernating at home..watching tv...very no life...but at least im enjoying what i do.

Even if u go out alone..doesnt mean u r anti-social wat...it juz means u r independent..n if u r reali so scared..u can lie that u r going to meet ur frens afterwards? i have a fren who is like dat oso..dun dare go out alone..n said i was cool enuf to be able to do dat..nth wrong..

u have to accept the fact that ur frens dun oni have u as their fren mahx..they have their stuffs to do oso mahx..if continue being like dat...they reali might drift away frm u..juz like if u r attached..u wanna spend time with gf and all dat..there has to be give n take in r/s or frenship one...

i duno if wat i said make any sense..but i hope it does...=P

you have to learn to be less emotionally dependent on your friends. start by appreciating the fact that they are happy with their partners. and maybe get yourself a partner. it does not have to be a romantic partner, it can just be an activity partner.

I know staying at home sucks but next time if my Saturdays are ruined then I shall go gallaventing (is that how you spell it?) on my own. I did not expect so many people here to actually go out alone moreover even be proud of it.

It just seems to be that half of the entire population of Singapore is in town on Saturdays.... Laughing
