I know sometimes I sound quite terrible & heartless, but if I
try to be soft, I ultimately give the guy false hope that there can
still be something between us & the previous relationship can
be salvaged, which is Not the case. Perhaps a friendship can be
maintained later, IF the ex maintains some dignity, & both show
respect for each other.
