For
what?
By doing so much for your previous love, whom very likely hold
little feelings for you, considering that it is a thing of the past
- AND all you want is merely to meet up and catch up on each
other?

There is no need to go through all the lengthy
effort if she wants to reconcile with you all these while and if
you don't even have the desire to patch back with her, you won't go
through such miles to plan your romantic settings.
From above, do you see how your confusion come about?
Your soul probably wants to be together, but because you know your
chance of failure is so high, you tell yourself you only want to
meet and catch up.
You can delude your mind, but you can't fool your heart.
I understand where you are coming from; to attempt the last resort
because you have nothing much to lose. It's like you are fighting a
losing battle, thus you will probably try anything... ANTYHING...
even constitute to losing further, in hoping to turn the tides
over.
Your regrets fuels alot of reason for your behavior and action. You
probably regreted, in some sense, 'I should have done this...
should have done that...'

We all must understand where the line is
drawn.
We walked passed the line and everything's concluded, even if
decide to walk further, thinking that there will be another drawn
line. But that doesn't change the fact that we have advance passed
the line, which marked 'Our past.'
What you are doing are likely to be futile, but if you must allow
yourself a chance to do what you must - please do. We live for
ourselves - if we must fall, you must understand the pain and
why.
P.S: Romantic setting is like appreciation; only used on people
worth your affection. Because when you shower upon those who
doesn't bother - there is no effect.
