The temporary bus interchange at Boon Lay took around 3 months
to construct - from February/March 2006 to May/June 2006. On the
assumption that the Wenya Bus Depot is a single-storey bus park,
similar to the ones at Bukit Batok and Kranji, the construction of
the Wenya Bus Depot would span between 3-6 months.
According to LTA's annual report for 2012/2013, the
Proposed Bus Depot at Wenya is contract number
RD258 (tender number:
LTA000ETT13000081). The contract was awarded on 18 October 2013
to KTC Civil Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd, at SGD
87,500,000.00
