43,76,135 no matter wic route is chosen after Paya Lebar Rd, (Sims Ave,Engku Aman Rd,Geylang Rd), Haig Rd, continue its journey

Y the whole stretch of Haig Rd should be covered us to cater toALL the folks living there, diverting to Dakota maybe near but it will miss the other stretch of Haig Rd

Hi mr Acx1688, highly possible. Or even increased frequency of sbs 43 together with minor route amendment of sbs 43 along Punggol west area due to upcoming HDB flats. Out of a sudden, sbs 43 has become extremely popular!

Hi mr BusAnalyser, why mistake??? They may have plans for new service coming from other areas and happen to bypass haig road. It may not be solely just for haig road. Rest assured whether it bypasses Dakota or paya lebar, there will be sufficient loading at other HDB estates to warrant a new service. Cheers.

I like the route but can I suggest that it does Meyer road on its way back instead of Mountbatten.. This way will provide direct service to Meyer road residents who have to walk quite some distance today...

Sv 43 will need new stops once Punggol west is developed... Hopefully it will do Senthul before it terminates.

Sv 43 needs to more Sd slots converted to DD for sure... Even PM load towards NEX is very high.. I think people from IMH also prefer to take 43 to NEX... Rather than Buangkok MRT... Wonder why.

Of course! Sbs 43 is direct from IMH to NEX. Who does not want a direct and faster journey??? IMH to buangkok mrt then mrt to NEX slightly more troublesome!

Omg... Won't that be a little too much?? I think first LTA should convert most SD slots to DD so that people get a seat and don't have to go standing... Adding buses often leads to bunching with first bus cramped and second one empty... And then ppl will still complain.

No I meant... People wanting to take MRT.. Can just take 43 to Buangkoi instead of 43 to Serangoon... But if you observe there are v few people who take 43 to Buangkok even though it is so close but prefer to take 43 to Serangoon instead... And CCL cannot be the reason as 43 takes them to Paya Lebar as well... Other side of CCL is off peak direction from Serangoon.

Hi mr BusAnalyser, I am just predicting only. It all depends if they want to make sbs 43 the only service to serve the new roads in Punggol west or not. If they decide it to be, sbs 43 will sure get new buses and improved frequency. If they decide a new service in the next few months, sbs 43 will remain status quo. Cheers

Oh okay if you mean people wanting to take MRT. In any way, I just want to point out that as of this moment, sbs 27 and sbs 43 are the only 2 doorstep bus services at buangkok mrt. Both are immensely popular.

Once those flats are operational, would make sense to have a SWT between Punggol town... Maybe 2 Citaros can do the job... For full route can add 1 DD and upgrade 2 Sd slots to DD...

1941D n 2 citaros... nt tt far journey can be completed in 27mins max at proper 45kmh rather than crawling nw at 25kmh...
