There will be a new bus terminal at changi business park, off changi south ave 1 by Q2 2015. It will be handed over to sbs transit.

Of all places in the east why they chose this place?Replacement for Lor 1?So svc 20 starts from there Mr Dupdup?

Maybe another 2 more svc can terminate there too..12 lots,canteen and proper boarding and alighting area also some sort like Upp East Coast

A bit far fr EXPO unless the intention is for UNI students... then 20 is the prime candidate for this...

Is it necessary to build a dedicated infrastructure(nt sure hw complicated) where it can be incorporated to the ground floor of 1 of the buildings in the uni?

Hi mr carbikebus, I am not too sure. I just analyse based on current situation. One is to develop the whole area as Mrt is coming up too. Two, this will provide a direct alternative for the university students nearby there. Three, this will help to give one more alternative for the future new or current bus routes being diverted from the overcrowded tampines interchange. Fourth, besides the current MRT, this place is not so accessible. Thanks.

With LTA grand plans to introduce 80 some routes, sg needs a lot more bus terminals and interchange to accommodate.

Changi business park terminal should house Sv 20 for sure looping at Tampines. ( no brainer right)... It will also house a new service that will start from here and loop at Bedok south road, providing connection for Tansh Merah to HdB flats along Bedok south ave 3, Bedok south road and commercial complexes along Changi Business park.

Since terminal will have 12 slots, it will have 4 services start from here. Sv 20 and Tanah Merah - Bedok south road confirmed,,, wondering what the other two would be.

Why not we introduce a new svc from there to the city, via Bedok South Rd, Upp East Coast Rd, Bedok South Ave 1, and then ditto 36 route from there onwards.

Then let 36 skip Marine Parade entirely and extend 36 to somewhere west like Clementi or Jurong East (preferably)...

Well, as you have actually said some time ago, how many people actually take 36 to the airport? Especially from Marine Parade?

I don't think there will be complaints as few air crew stay at Marine Parade, and very few even take the bus from Marine Parade to CGA in the very first place. I realised most those few who take 36 to CGA is so that they can transfer MRT to Expo, which can be unnecessary if my suggestion is launched, as I suggest these simultaneously. There will then be a direct link to CBP and Expo from MP with the new svc.

Yeh, the loading at Marine Parade for both directions to the city and CGA are quite good, especially during peak hour, when even 36 buses to the city are packed to the door!

I think the most 4 service only,20 definitely will start from there looping at Tampines,48 might terminate there,Another one to west area and one more can be to Central north like AMK.

IMO places that need proper bus terminals is,Clementi,Kallang,Hougang,CCK and Marsiling..
