Well, as you have actually said some time ago, how many people
actually take 36 to the airport? Especially from Marine Parade?
I don't think there will be complaints as few air crew stay at
Marine Parade, and very few even take the bus from Marine Parade to
CGA in the very first place. I realised most those few who take 36
to CGA is so that they can transfer MRT to Expo, which can be
unnecessary if my suggestion is launched, as I suggest these
simultaneously. There will then be a direct link to CBP and Expo
from MP with the new svc.

I in fact said just the opposite. I said there are hardly any
people who take 36 from city to airport. Loading for 36 comes city
to marine parade and then a few pax from marine parade to cga. If
you observe, 36 will have 20-25 pax when it leaves cga, all of whom
will alight at marine parade area.
My suggestion to fix the situation for 36 heavy loading between
marine parade and city, and need for high capacity buses was to
swap routes of 36 and 48 after siglap. This way you still provide
link for airport people with 48. 36 going to bndep can then get DDs
that will ease loading also on tanah Merah - UEC sector.
That's why I say people need to understand loading
pattern on buses to suggest any changes. If you don't know where
loading comes from, futile to just make any
recommendations.
