mooku...
yea i think death would cause a ripple of sadness to reverbrate
thru one's circle.. regardless whether or not his/her time is up.
i'm not talking about problems. i'm not asking you all to lie down
and let your problems roll over u. i'm giving a very cynical
perspective of how life misleads all of us.
don't get me wrong. i'm a sucker for happiness as well. and i have
to admit unless i find a better alternative to being a donkey or
having to kill myself, i'm just going to continue living this one
big lie, fighting it all the way. i'm not going to delude myself
with bouts of happiness or bliss. i'll take it as it comes cause it
sure feels damn good. but don't u all think, at the end of it all,
we're living one big lie? chasing a non-existant intangible
carrot?
donjng:
i emphathise if you've lost a loved one. but that's no way to
motivate yourself to be happy. isn't it ironic if u actually use a
closed one's death to motivate yourself? think about it.. the
ultimate suffering for the drive to find happiness.. i would rather
do without the happiness if i could keep my loved one alive. i dun
need my family members to die to realise the importance of
living.
but what are we really living for? what do you guys live for?
some live day by day
others live for longer periods and plan ahead. but it all comes to
nought. i'm not even talking about death. i'm talking about never
being satisfied. never being happy. how many of us can actually
declare now that they've attained a state of pure bliss? a
prolonged state i mean. that few moments at the altar when your
better half slips that ring on your finger, the moment of joy when
u see your child being born, basking in the evening sun as you
watch your kids play with their gorgeous mother from the driver's
seat of a ferrari modena.
tangible or intangible. these moments just don't last long enough.
worst still for some, they never arrive. if we can't live to see
that state of prolonged bliss we all so often dream of, at least we
can try can't we?
i'm very inclined to say BULLSHIT to the paragraph above. but i
would be hypocritical if i did. I'm after all, still in the midst
of my pursuit for tangible happiness. personally, i dun give a damn
if i ever experience the intangible lies that life has to offer. I
used to be that fool that dreamt that all you needed was
love.
but now, i've come to realise, i dun need that kind of lie...i
would rather do without the happiness if i could do without all the
suffering that comes with it. my friends may not know this.. but
i've transformed from being a passionate, emotional dreamer to a
cold hard human being ready and capable to exact the most ruthless
acts in order to get what he wants. i may not leave this life
fulfilled... but at least i know... i've given myself the best life
anyone can get.
ever wonder why life and lie are all too similar?
