transfer fee = the fee you pay for transfer of
ownershop of bike.
if i remember correctly, is either $30 or $65 or $75 at LTA.
road tax and COE is issued to the bike, not the owner. doesn't have
to be transferred. road tax has to be renewed, either annually or
every 6 months.
insurance.... the headache part...
some insurance plans are non-transferable, meaning when you buy the
bike, you have to get a new insurance.
you can get a new insurance either by going down to the comnpany
yourself to buy the policy, or buy through the motorshop. it's
cheaper to buy thru the company, becoz... "aiyo u oso know, we open
motorshop, oso must earn money one mah..."
but if you buy a new bike, then lan lan gotta get from chia pang.
only buy from private owner, or renew insurance then can buy
straight from the insurance companies.
