United are being tipped as
favourites to sign Argentina midfielder Javier Mascherano.
The race for the 23-year-old is hotting up, with United and Real
Madrid said to be alerted by his part in the Argentines' impressive
World Cup displays so far.
The Reds have also been linked with Atletico Madrid striker
Fernando Torres, who has been in excellent form for Spain at the
World Cup, notching four goals .
Meanwhile, the rumours over Ruud van Nistelrooy's future continue
to circulate with reports suggesting the Dutchman is being courted
by German giants Bayern Munich.
I think it will be exciting to see C. Ronaldo, Rooney, Torres
playing the attacking 3.... plus mascherano behind will be
good...not forgetting supplies from Park, Giggs, Scholes.... hope
the transfer will go through.
