Juve being relegated? What about AC Milan? Weren't they implicated in the Italian football scandal too?

Twice A Day SG

From what i read..Juve seems the team in the most precarious situation. i think that milan and co might only be slapped with a fine, point deduction or stripped of euro qualification...But the more that go down the merrier... Very Happy
I want more transfers...kaka to chelsea?

Manchester United have held talks with the representatives of AC Milan midfielder Rino Gattuso.

But the deal will only happen this summer if AC Milan are relegated in the massive Italian match-fixing scandal.

Intermediaries for United and the player have met in Germany - but so far his Milan club have been left out.

Midfielder Gattuso, 28, has been looking for an excuse to join United.

He is on record as saying: "It is my dream to play for Manchester United and I have had this dream for a long time."

And a well-placed Italian source revealed to The Sun: "Let's just say that all parties except Milan are being kept informed and are waiting for the end of the tournament and the trial with interest."

Heres some transfer rumours i've heard...

Arsenal

Outs -> Cygan, Lauren, Lehmann (if he goes buffon might be coming), Reyes, Ljunberg. Cesc is not gonna go real cuz they suck hard.

Ins -> Saviola (3m cheap!), Nuri Sahin, Buffon, Mascherano or Yaya Toure, Curtis Davis, Thuram and Trezeguet ( if juve get relegated and they come in for cheap). Maybe even ribery!

Man U

Outs -> RVN, Ronaldo

Ins -> Hard to say because agents have apparently been avoiding Man u cuz they wanna wait for SAF to retire. Torres is prob gonna stay for another year in La Liga or at least until Jan transfer period.

Gattuso, Riquelme, Carrick, Sergio Ramos

X-men SG

ribery is on top of Real Madrid’s list

dinky1409 SG

I just read newspaper, Man U not willling to go above their 9million bid, and Arsenal's bid of 10million is hugely overshadowed by Chelsea's bid of 24million.. Crazy sia Chelsea nabei.. So much money ah.. If this is really true, looks like Robben is going out.. If I SWP I also go out sia.. Waste my chance to play for England..

Real looking to get Cannavaro..

iceFatboy SG

I think even RM lose to Chelsea if Chelsea really wants a player.
with 70M as warchest, Chelsea has 2billions.

And Chelsea is determined to do the double or triple at least this season.
so I think all the rest should look @ 2nd as being 1st place.

realistically, I am amazed to see MUFC having so much trouble prior to the season. Without RVN, and CRonaldo, their season is pretty much top 5 or top 10..

I think surprise is going to come from Liverpool. They have a solid base and has improved year after year.

Newcastle without Owen is mid table.

Spurs could spring a few surprises, Martin Jol seems to buy good quality young players who are playing well. I do hope that they get a few good seasons in europe and then they will be a force to be reckon with.

what you all think?

Twice A Day SG

I would say it would be tight next season. Hopefully more talents move to the epl. Would love to see ribery man..But 24m...Hmm i guess no one would fight for it..I heard del horno wanted by valencia.Hope he goes coz i think hes not defensively sound...Diarra also have many suitors and i think he have a high chance of leaving...arsenal, man u, real?

iceFatboy SG

I think with the world cup, Italian FA won't allow the top teams to just fade and quote what Juventus said "they are not a supermarket".

even some mentions that the world cup win is set up.

for me, as they won going thru Germany, it is pretty hard to setup.

Spurs are gay, they signed Lennon from Leeds for free when he reached 17 Evil or Very Mad

Hmm i hear..torres leaving rumours yet again..I guess man u looks the most interested party after rvn appears to be heading out of old trafford.

Others

Del horno -> valencia ( Good for chelsea..i dont think hes a good defender
nedved -> spurs ( splashing big bucks for so many players..a contender? )

Juventus defender Lilian Thuram has stated he refuses to play in Serie B next season and would be happy with a move to Barcelona. ( Any takers )

Reports emanating from Italy claim Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo is keen for a fresh start, with Spain his favoured destination

Spanish sources insist that Real Madrid have won the race to capture both Fabio Cannavaro and Gianluca Zambrotta

Woohoo news aplenty..But no real deal yet.

deal is the thing we want Very Happy not only empty talks

effectively, MUFC has surrendered the title to chelsea before season starts.

with a make shift MF of Scholes, Giggs & OShea, last season 2nd place was the best achievement and qualification into europe a grand prize.

imagine putting the money for Smith to regain striker roles, a with 1 goals in four matches but letting a striker RVN 3 goals in 4 matches go to our main europe rivals.. And putting the ageing fleet of baby-face, Giggs and Scholes as our new saviours. We are in deep S8it.

with 50m, I am wondering whether this is made up, or used for glaciers' family to fund their US football team. Imagine, we can't buy PV, we need to loan. that already speaks volume of MUFC's finance.

with supposedly, 2nd richest club in europe, I wonder how the stupid accountants do their maths. We have the biggest debts. Or they can't do the "minus" portion.

for those true red fans, I believe most will start to realise that we aren't doing well in our transfer market. We can't do a veron anymore.

If we were to get Lippi, I suggest we do it soon. Fergie smells like expired yogurt.

^MaRcUs^ SG

lets not under-estimate sir alex..
after all that he have done for the club,
and been 3 seasons without premierleague,
I still believe he will want to win it one more time.
of coz we hope he can make 1-2 big signings,
but do remember the best man u were made up of
likes of beckham, scholes, giggs, nevilles, butt...
from their youth policy...
