Man U to buy Michael Carrick from Spurs. Heard its almost a done deal! Do you all think he is really that good?

stellazio SG

nope..spurs told man utd to up their bid to 15m before they will consider.. currently man utd has a 10m bid rejected.

BrUtUs SG

hvnt heard its any near done yet… tink at least hv to spend 15mil but its worth the price as carrick got good future if guided well…

jumpmanz SG

yah. but i find spurs asking price of 15 millions pounds too steep.

stellazio SG

cuz they dun even want to sell wad..

Båseline SG

I'm not quite sure why Man Utd wanna buy MC when they hv Darren Fletcher played in that mould.

Carrick a good player thou.. excellent passing range and gd technique. Somewhat refreshing among his english peers in his position. Strokes the ball ard with flair but sometimes loses concentration then lose possesion.

stellazio SG

fletcher is not good enough.period.. Laughing

i dun wana be evil, but he's not good enough to play in the man utd squad..

BrUtUs SG

for a future star with big potential its not... n wats more is spurs r not willing sellers too so to buy players u wan u hv to spend more... cannt expect pasar malam everyday la...

Båseline SG

Any S-League Club would gladly sign him......... Mr. Green

Come come.. no hairdryer treatment. Feel bored.. hey got asspernut and the upcoming IR at Marina and Sentosa. Nokia Football Crazy will find a spot for u in thier lineup too. Laughing

Watch the Argentina Vs Ivory Coast match last night i thought Juan Roman Riquelme & Didier Zokora are better choice… 1st time i seen Zokora play, he looks like a real midfield enforcer which is what they really need and can pass the ball well too. These 2 players would cost lesser than the 15M spurs wants for Carrick. But after WC they will cost much more!

The man who was death SG

i think quinton fortune will join bolton Mr. Green

WiNtEr'SkiLL SG

spurs shldnt sell carrick at this point , they are currently reviving and they need carrick as the brain of the midfield

MingFreeman SG

Spurs have confirmed dat they rejected a Man Utd bid

zocoss SG

Yeah, but money talks. And if Man U is willing to pay 15M i am sure they will sell. I would rather go for players like Juan Roman Riquelme & Didier Zokora if they want to pay 15M for carrick.

dragg SG

riquelme will probably cost much more than 15 million.

btw, fletcher CMI.

dinky1409 SG

Fletcher? I think I can pass better than him lol.. Tottenham willing to sell Carrick? Even at 15m? I say 15m is a good deal. Carrick is good. Behind the scene kind of guy.

Inzaghi SG

african players are good buy..they usually under rated one..

most england players are over rated...

Fletcher? Isn’t he supposed to be a defender? Carrick is an attacking midfielder, if I am not wrong.

MrK SG

He’ll be a good playmaker for any team. Though I think United will still need someone to do the dirty work in midfield. I’m not quite convinced that Carrick’s the man for that job.

iveco SG

It is best to let someone in the mould of Roy Keane or Patrick Vieira handle the dirty work in midfield.
