the bukit batok case is not solved.. so there's no point in accusing them.. plus, we shouldn't be calling them 'black monkeys'.. how rude is that? it's like the causcasians calling us 'chings' or 'yellowman'.. or calling the afro-americans 'negros' or 'niggers'.. isn't that racism??

as i mentioned b4... the majority of indians here are law-abiding citizens.. it's only a small minority that are out to make problems.. in any society, there are bound to have black sheeps...

among our local community, there are heinous crimes commited by perverted minds from all races.. who can forget adrian lim who abducted little girls and used them in rites and perform sexual acts on them? that's just one of the many crimes committed by local chinese.. how about armed robberies.. crimes of passion... the murder at orchard towers?

it is just not sensible to point fingers at the race or skin colour just because of these minorities who choose to fulfil their lusts.. so let's be level-headed about the issue.. if you feel unsafe about your gfs or yourself.. avoid the chances of getting into the situation by all means.. if u encounter such incidents, then call the police.. isn't what their job is?

we have to feel fortunate and blessed to be living in a safe country.. where u grow up with education.. you are clothed, you have a roof to live under.. and they? they are foreigners in a foreign land.. with families to feed back in their homeland.. they do the work most, if not all, singaporeans are not willing to do.. they build house that we can live.. they build tunnels so our trains can move in.. their build the roads so that our transport systems work.. they build drains so our sanitation systems is flowing.. be grateful.. if you do not know how to appreciate them.. then at least, try to have pity on them.. if not, just don't call them names.. pls..

bangalas as what they r called are also human beings. They have rights to speak and comment. Most of us would not like them. WE think of them as low class people or so called peasants. but pls pls pls... think abt how they feel. they come all e way here to work and support their family. and do they come here to face all these discriminations?

no doubt, some of them may be tempted to commit crimes or some are with criminal records. But who doesn't make mistakes? we can't judge them in this way..

I agree with Master and Sillyme's stand on this. As Singaporeans, living in a wonderful and conducive environment where all amenities and educational institutions are spartan, we should welcome any visitors to our homeland. About the double standards thing, i find it true. Those who find that their respective gf have been ogled, would u say that you have never ogled at girls before either solitary or with a group.

Please, for goodness sake, when they are at work in constructions sites or whatsoever, u see them ogling? (i mean most) I dun think so because they are sent here to do their work conscientiously and diligently to remit money to their homeland.

i agree with u, but if i had a daughter i wouldnt let her go to Countdown Parties n stuff like that... especially because of these black sheep (no pun intended Mr. Green ) of the bangladeshi community in SG.

Over-protective? i hardly think so... i rather do that than see her come home one day telling me she's been molested or worse...

solution: Police should patrol places where these irritating people appear @ (e.g. Orchard Road) esp. during public holidays... really hope our local law enforcers take these irritants off our streets...
