Im referring to those new cars who have test drive plates..but
this one is already so old thats why i wonder why got that plate if
it implies a test drive.
I dont see any reason to put the plate for a test drive if its a
owned viehicle sent in for servicing.The existing number plate can
already suffice.
In case you don't know, a trade plate, which is the proper term...
is a form of insurance to cover whoever is driving whatever vehicle
the plate is attached to. Should there be an accident in any case,
the company who owns that trade plate will make the
report to the insurance company. The plate basically allows a
driver authorized by the company to drive whatever vehicle that
plate covers, an unregistered vehicle (new car), a special forces
Ford Explorer or for this case, TMJ's Bentley. A Singaporean is not
allowed to drive a Malayisan registered vehicle here, which is
another point to take note. Whoever is driving that TMJ Bentley is
definately not from the palace :)
