Actually, for the 4 or 5 years back from 2000, when Toyota was
still 2nd behind GM, it was it a much better state. GM might have
been the biggest but it has always been on the verge of
bankruptcy.
Toyota, on the other hand, earned record profits every year and
finally made it to the top...
