I just wondering whether SBS and SMRT are interested in bringing back the two abandoned projects for the vintage Leyland Atlantean AN68/Alexander and the Mercedes-Benz 0.405/Hispano diecast?

Maybe cost of production have gone down and is more viable to restart the projects again? It will bring good news to diecast fans locally.

Anyone seen this before ? This is an actual Leyland Atlantean model sold then at World Trade Centre gift shop before the famous Sentosa bus model being sold years after. I got this when I was a little kid, say about 2 decades ago.

I think is quite difficult to have shop here selling Bus diecast. Firstly the bus companies must have the interest to have a diecast for every model they have in their depot. Secondly, the bus companies must be willing to fork out $$ to have the model designed by China or HK diecast company.

The only chance is to convince those shop currently selling diecast (i.e. Nikko Shop) to import models from overseas but u may need to be prepared to pay a higher price for it.
