it's how you manage a jam... obviously you dun even bother abt why
need planners, why need people to manage things, why need ppl to be
there to intervene the market when needed... if life is so
simple... we just the jam magnify bigger...
Jams are unavoidable. He is right but jams can be reduced if proper
measures are made and problematic issues are resolved. LTA will
never allow traffic jams and long queues by buses, which is common
in the 70s and 80s.
you call people names..
you went to say something w/o reading that also made a little of
disrespect to the COI ppl…
worst thing, just use name calling, hurling to win the game w/o
explaination… this kind of behaviour is the worst…
So who’s really the stubborn and defiant one?
Chill la no need to call names or label ppl as animals sia.We
can always discuss in a professional way mah
Guys, just focus on the discussion. Arguing with these kind
of people only makes you look stupid.
As a scholar himself, the 3 star will know darn well that
bendies will never be an optimal solution.
And I can recall he is a no-nonsense guy who's willing to bring
about sweeping changes when need be.
Hopefully he will turn SMRT around.
Still accessing his contributions to SMRT Corp as of now.
It's either he turn SMRTB around or give SMRTB up to SBST. He
has already acknowledged that SMRTB has management issues, so hope
that he will do something to revamp the current
management which cause the mess SMRTB is in now.
Like you have said, let's hope he will look into the problems
bendy buses have cost SMRTB problems for so many years and make a
decisive move to stop using them for good.
bendies, rigids or DDs are not the main problem
the cars are ...
Not true.
Look at the bus lanes designated for public buses only. How
about bus terminus/interchange, bus depots? These places are
clearly out of bound for private cars.
SBS's intentions to build the guided bus system was actually a
good move.
DTL=SBST
DTL=/=SMRT

IF DTL breakdown then how
rigids cope with the load?

So easy to cut down trees?

Got so many places with tree branch
restrictions somemore...

If LTA is serious about improving public transport and also
transportation as a whole for logistics transportation, they need
to do something about the trees in the long term. Height
restrictions is easier to solve than space restrictions in
Singapore.
trust me DTL will cockup within a year
CCL already screw up in less than a year.
SMRT can't even operate a new rail line properly, why waste
their resources on operating buses? Just give up their buses and
operate their rail lines properly.
Its simply because that point of time, there were not many
people in Singapore. Now, Singapore has 5 million people and thats
why there are long queues.
Where have you been, man? You don't know about this? SBS era is
long time ago, yo!
You already said our population has been increasing for the past
years. Still want to use bendy buses?
