sigh... hope this vehicle would just be a perm TRG or a museum bus, cuz it breakdown everytime. museum bus is the best. cuz then the drivers are doing TRG, breakdown very pek cek for time.

It's their decision lol. I remember reading somewhere on the news SBST was willing to trial hybrid vehicles in their fleet after the Sunlong's 1 year trial period to collect further data on the hybrid, but i can't find the article.

Hence the use of 2888T as the TRG bus.

That bus was a troublesome bus in the past.

I've mentioned this to SBS6078M - It's at most all guesswork based on all the stuffs shown, and we don't have any further info other than from the sources on King Long website. Maybe there's a raiser system but it's not fixed up yet? We don't know.

As mentioned, in theory this is a modern citybus and i'm sure King Long's R&D department, to make sure their products stay in the competitive market would have equipped the vehicle with the features found on most modern citybuses of this era.

Either there is a raiser (and it would have been used) or there is no raiser (and thats why they had to raise it by tools).

The slope is so steep! There's no way any of the current generation of buses could have cleared that slope on normal suspension mode.

I think you do not realise that LTA is seriously proding the 2 PTO in exploring alternative propulsion ideas.

And I also do not think you realise that China is actually the top producer in green energy whether you like it or not.

Many US/EU firms have made a lot of noise about Chinese "dumping", but frankly speaking, I think that trend is here to stay.

It's only time they get hybrid buses... but the king long unfortunately isnt one, I think. Uses AdBlue instead. Hopefully all alternative propulsion buses optiosn from MAN, Volvo and Merc are on the table. I'm sure they'll perform better than the MIC buses and be easier to maintain (SMB135E and SMB137A were allegedlly giving mechanics headaches, don't quote me on this)

Both buses sounded progressively terrible.

And by the time I took 135E by chance a few months later, the aircon was bleah.

But then again, that just about described many of SMRT's buses.
