my view on svc 858 :
the route is very long, despite the fact that SMRT purposely
makes svc 858 to make big loops in Sembawang.
A commuter like me from Jalan Kayu will prefer to take svc 168
to get to WRI than taking 858 as it will go to yishun, sembawang,
wasting more time..
I think the only solution to 858's problem is to implement svc
858A for the highest demand sectors, and svc 858 to cut short ?
maybe introduce svc 860 to CGA?
cause 858 this route very unreasonable and long.
got a lot of ppl go back to WL from CGA would rather take 858 to
jalan kayu, then change 168 there, instead of taking 858 straight
up and making big loops round yishun and sembawang.
