Extending 858 to Sembawang is the worst bus route amendment
ever. It extends Woodlands residents time and fare price by
travelling over a longer distance to the airport, increase the
crowd for Yishun residents, increases the chances of irregular
frequencies due to its absurd long route and cause BCs have to
drive for longer trips without much rest. And it is the worst
service with the worst frequency for Changi airport services.
SMRTB should revert the old 858 back, from
Woodlands via Gambas Ave (bypassing Sembawang) to Yishun then to
airport.
tat's the reason y i see woodlands residents from the airport
alighting at jln kayu from 858 and transferring 168, instead of
taking 858 straight up.
