Hmm... I believe is service lapse by HGDEP yet again...

Having a K230UB downgraded into a MK3 for a WAB service is already bad enough for the PIWs.

Else more double decks for 74 please. Long dist route yet packed like crazy at Bt Timah onwards. Downstream ppl having hard time boarding.

163 is normally crowded in the weekday peaks. During the off peaks there is not much crowds at all. It will be just nice to have 4-5 perm DDs running only on the weekday splits whereas the SDs run full day.

haiz svc 74 40 + buses, causes other services to give priority to svc 74 yet again..

i’d recommend svc 132/svc 62 to give priority to svc 74,
svc 62 is only crowded in the peak hours and school hours,

62 has already cut close to 4-5 buses since CCL opened how many more do you want to cut?

74 is managing pretty ok. You cant expect everyone to board the first bus that comes especially with varying crowds from NP at different times..

Far from it...

74 frequency now is not only somewhat irregular off-peak, but at all times of the day, I have no idea if I would be able to board the bus at all anywhere from Bukit Timah to Serangoon.

74 not only needs more buses, but more DDs.

A better idea is to cut 161's fleet back to 10-11.....(not 9 like when first introduced!) and give it full DDs.

consider myself lucky then :) yes i agree of more DDs on 74.. its sickening to see a JB Mk3 reaching the bus stop totally full and the aircon half-fagged.

Fren u try sv62 freq off-peak evening?! it is close to 20mins...
Even when sv62 is peak hours w DDs[esp evening], it is slightly manageable...
with downtrips from Aljunied stn and sv62A supplement...
unless u are a regular user of sv62, if not please refrain from posting when u only see the DD fleet list of sv62 and never use the service

find out the maximum loading point of sv 62 first. a lot of people transfer to MRT at Aljunied still.

chiu guys have no idea where sv62's demand is and u guys are complaining of too many buses in its fleet.
