....svc 48 to terminate at bndep instead of upp east coast terminal by dec 11, new route amendment to serve tanah merah mrt - bedok rd (simpang) - bdk north ave 4 - bndep, upp east coast rd sector will be removed after turning frm marine parade rd if i'm nt wrong, saw notice at opp simpang post office [bedok rd], i feel its a good amendment :)

i think most likely BNDEP will take over some duties. doesnt make sense for many arbp buses to travel to bndep to start off a duty

If I remember correctly, the original plan is Kent Ridge terminal - Bedok North Depot. I think it cannot be extended to Kent Ridge is due to parking lot shortage.

The shuttle services have been misused by many people anyway.

I have seen many people taking the shuttle bus to travel between Tiong Bahru and Redhill MRT or between Red Hill MRT and River Valley Rd etc

People also abused Suntec & GWC shuttle buses to get between Chinatown and Suntec in the past. I myself was guilty of that.

I would board the Chinatown MRT-GWC shuttle to GWC, then catch the other one to City Hall before hopping on the Suntec bus. If 148 wasn't chopped but extended to EUN via Suntec, National Stadium, Marine Parade & Still Rd South, this would be unnecessary. What I did cost me zilch in fares but heaps in wasted time.

How about extending the other end to ARBP? Like that can serve Biopolis area.
