but the news stated Bendies , more than 1, so 2 demos likely Citaro G and MAN bendy?

I think they are all refering to single deckers. 300 should be the Citaros that SBST had bought.

Read in today's ST.

There is no mention of any models that both companies are buying. The 300 buses might just be the new Citaros that SBST is buying.

The 119 buses for SMRT is most likely single deckers replacing the first batch of O405s.

Hmm... Lian He Zao Bao put got bendies, ST didn't state...

Lets say JB registred MB aren't counted, we have 117 of Batch 1 O405 to be replaced, which means additional 2 buses are either fleet expansion or demo bendies...

There won't be any Citaro based bendies but MAN maybe. But new bendies will only come in after 2013, unless LTA decides to scrap the Mark 1 O405 bendies early by this year.

Some of the Box-Bendies were chosen for the refurbish programme and got extended, however, some are not is because they are either in good condition.

Others maybe waiting for replacement...i guess?

I don't know what are you talking about but new bendies will only come in after 2013, which is 17 years after the first batch from TIBS.

The earliest is 2014 if SMRT wants to extend, which they most probably would.

TIB838H should be gone by 2015 if an extension is granted.

They have to clear out the 94' batch which is 425R to 441T first in 2013 (provided with extension)

442R and the rest can wait.

But wouldnt smrt replace the rigids first since its lifespan is ending soon?

Won't be going out that fast lah, most likely halfway through the extension then we might see lay-ups.

OMV for SMB139/140 is $282,480.00..... dunno why it cost cheaper than OC500 and KUB

Looks like the production Citaros are using the same engine as 136C.
