Service 77 was all the way FAC service in the '90s. After
1997/1998, it was converted to the PAC service after most of
the feeder services in the islandwide was converted from NAC fleet
to PAC fleet. And 77 got some of the NAC merczs.
Nope, that was because in 1998 SBS wanted to deploy full fleet
AC on the more popular bus routes. Services like 2, 7,
12, 27, 30, 143, 166 etc were converted to FAC. As such services
like 77 as well as 6, 79, 90, 138, 151, 156, 175 etc were
converted to PAC. Feeder services only started getting PAC one year
later when the NAC Volvo MK2s, Scania N113CRBs and Mercs were
converted to CAC.
And I remembered service 77 converted back to FAC in Jan 2000
just before it was handed over to Tibs in Jun that year
