Is there any reason why 853 got extended to Upper East Coast
(formerly Marine Parade) only on sundays and PH? Is it because
of the crowd demands over there?
Also, other than the 3 mercz(TIB 590X-591T,593M) 178 has in
the past(90s), what are the other fleets 178 received?
For 167, was it under Dual depot control since it was
established?
1) Its not just crowd demand. The extension to Upper East Coast is
to serve residents living in private estates at Upper East Coast to
provide linkage to Yishun, Ang Mo Kio & Marine Parade, beside
the service 13.
2) Other fleets include NAC Hino & Nissan UDs and also DAFs.
TIB705H - TIB707C were once did sv 178 - not sure whether it used
to be 178 perm.
3) 167 was never a dual depot since its establishement on 3 April
1983. At its humble start, all of its service took over by TIBS
were under KJDEP. Until when AMDEP depot was completed, 167 became
AM/KJ, alongside with 160, 161, 164, 169.
