Is it the fan belt? I encountered it once before on a DM3500.
After screeching for more than a minute or two, white smoke started
billowing out the sides of the bus and through the floorboards. The
BC stopped the bus, turned off the engine and declared engine
overheat.
Unlikely. Not sure if there's something below the bus. The bus
stopped the screeching sound when it stopped to pick up passengers
and the sound continues after the bus moves off...
But doesnt sound too much of a type burst though.
