The crane smashed all the way from the front to the back leh....
I believe the motion of the bus (moving forward) caused
it.
If that driver is careful:
1. When he saw a crane vehicle as big-ass his bus, he should
slow down.
2. When he heard the impact, he should stopped immediatedly. (If
he had done so, maybe the crane wont hit all the way to the
back)
3. When a big-ass bus and a big-ass crane goes side by side, u
jolly well dont take the chance.
1. i'm inclined to think the bus driver was doing his normal
speed or even slower.
2. of course the motion of the bus caused it. well, even if he
had applied the brakes immediately (which i feel he would have done
so) the bus will take time to stop anyway! whether or not the
length of the damage would have been shorter does not really
matter.
3. you jolly well dont take the chance, so you expect poor bus
driver to stop in the centre of the road and wait for the crane to
move off? or expect him to do vehicle acrobatics and cut all the
way to the extreme right lane and then back to the left lane to
call at the bus stop. im sure the bus driver would have exercised
due dilligence in ensuring that he had sufficient clearance to pass
the lorry.
