SBS Transit trials Sunlong Diesel-Electric Hybrid buses

Well, something I lack of understanding here,
dont those 2 buses run on electric? What does it mean by electric diesel?
Am I right to say euro IV and above buses does not have exhausts? Like our KUBs? Or is it the SCR/EGR replaced the exhaust? And because of that LTA set the criteria of min euro IV?

From sgwiki, these 2 buses are a Euro 3 compliant engine, isnt the LTA standard to be Euro 4? How did they pass the LTA?

weitong, i did a check of the engine's specs again based on the model number, it should be Euro IV. apologies for the mistake.

carbon monoxide is odorless you're more likely to smell soot once in a while, but you might experience more of the heat.

the exhaust pipe is at rear offside i believe...

where is the adblue warning displayed? took 8030L yesterday and I didnt really see any adblue warnings. only thing is on the display at the lower left corner of the windscreen next to the dashboard, two out of four boxes are blinking.

Typically displayed on that orange LCD in the middle. I think it displays something like RUN ENGINE DIAGNOSTICS when the Adblue tank runs out. I've seen that message every time I take 8030L.
