out of the balance 20 SP EEV in AMDEP, i think they will go to Sv70 and Sv 261/262/269.. high time Sv70 kenna EEVs... I agree

Just spotted SVS8972X on svc155 @1435hrs Paya Lebar Station. There’s also another red small desto just above the driver.

Yeah.That red desto at the top of the windscreen is the new amended one.All the SBST loop svcs which uses the extra desto at the front like 139,21,60 have changed to this method u said above.The above method is for buses with EDSes.The older buses still use the extra desto at the front.But they changed the colour on the destos a bit.

either outside schedule or breakdown cameo. don't forget that timings can be regulated by OCC to ensure evened out frequency for 36 as town was crazily jammed even until 2400h last night.

most prob bah... but then again a lot of idle Scanias in depot, just strange out pops a non WAB...
i was at Orc sat nite... sooo many pple, total madness!
i saw the bus os Marine Parade CC[heading twds town] at 2031hrs, it return to Marine Parade Rd[before Marine Parade CC,CGA bound] at 2153hrs
but i also noticed since sv36 became FULL WAB, wkend's frequency has improved a bit... more regular at 11/12 mins interval...

Why dont the new Scanias bodied by Euro bodybuilder beside cost factor?I have taken new EEVs which mostly have strong shaken body that same as a 14 years old Scanias...

Because it is all about cost factor. All these chassis were brought during the financial crisis. Thus SBST and SMRT choose Gemilang.

But I wonder why SBST don't choose local Soon Chow instead...

But I wonder why SBST don't choose local Soon Chow instead...

seriously, i think the workmanship for soon chow is rather poor.

the original order was for 100. placed in late 2006 or early 2007. decision made to increase the order by another 400 probably in late 2007. then another 400 in 2008, and 200 in 2009.

Yeah i still remember very clearly that time it was said here in 2007 that SBST only buying 100 kubs.Then increase to 500,then 900,then suddenly 1100.Seriously wth man =.=

SBST annouce that they buy 500 KUB in Oct 2007 (which include the initial 100)....and when they buy the very 1st 100 KUB, there isnt any financial crisis yet..
