the cefiro's suspension is tuned for comfort... of cos the handling is not nimble lah.. plus its FF layout with such a heavy body....

At the end of the day it's TS's father who will make the decision, not TS, not TS bro, not TS cousin. Your father will probably be more realistic and realise that a 2 door coupe will not fit the family comfortably, especially so on long trips on the NS highway, and all that power will be for fish when he realises that a GS300 can keep up with him on the highway at 140 as well. The only difference is the time taken to reach from 0 to 140. Your ATTESA-ETS will probably be for moot, the NS Highway is not a circuit and your father will not take chances when he has your baby sis in the back seat.

But if he's gonna sell off his cefiro just to get the GT-R, GG. Maybe if he got rid of TS the family might fit into the R. Laughing

Well to be honest, he did say he wanted a sports coupe which was cheap , fast and could hold 5+ people, never mind about fuel economy.

The GTR has such a big price jump over the other two... Rolling Eyes With 300K, I rather get a family car (eg. VW Passat, Ford Mondeo or since you like Jap cars than get a Mazda 6 or Subaru Legacy or Accord) then spend the rest on a Lotus Elise S. My father owns a Volvo V50 which is also a family car and is large enough to fit 5 but much smaller than a Cefiro. I do not understand how you can say that a Cefiro is small let alone smaller than a GTR...??? And don't tell me u are gonna put a baby seat in the rear of the GTR? Rolling Eyes

from this pic,u can see that the gtr is strictly a 2+2 not a 2+3 vehicle. it even has speakers embedded in the middle and a partition for the drivetrain's independent rear mounted transaxle housing the transmission,differentials, and awd transfer case. no way u r going to fit 5 at all(unless u throw one into the boot)

if ur criteria is jap cars, fast, can seat 5, look for these:

marx x
honda euro r
honda legend
gs300
evo 10
legacy gt
cefiro 3.5(same engine as z)
toyota crown (not the taxi)
g36 skyline (get the 4dr version)
civic type r (4door version)

pls dont include these as there are 2seaters:
mrs

coupes not suitable for families (2adults 1infant still can make do):
civic type r (kah motors)
