I think after this incident, AMDEP staff most likely be screwed up
by the management seriously. This, I suppose, is the second depot
fire in SBS history. Or is there any more earlier???
Look on the bright side, SBST still has many spare air con
double deckers. Maybe the Leyland Olympian 3 axles might get a
lifespan extension for a while because of this.
The last fire at the 1990s is when SBS was mass purchasing its
fleet, and is in of the coincidence of what is happening again. Who
knows, we might see an influx of new double deckers again soon.
6 vehicles will not make a significant dent such that lifespan
of the LO3X has to be extended..
