What so unlucky, I thought I wanted to get 9888Y's recording now TVM is gone. Wasted.

I think at the most they can only salvage the parts for spares, if there is any in the first place. Can only hope they take out 9888Y's ZF gearbox and put it on another bus.

All the casualties coming from 25. Think 25 will get KUB-ized next.

How was TIB900K get burnt last time?

This bus caught fire along Bedok Reservoir Road while on service 67 somewhere in 2000, the rear engine was totally burnt off. Remembered the newspaper article.

If I am not wrong Tibs took out all the green seats and fitted them on the CSS CAC Nissan UDs (TIB1250X, TIB1251T, TIB1252R)

Another bendy that caught fire in Dec 2003 was TIB1110S which was mentioned in the news too, the bus was totally burnt off leaving behind the skeleton. Sad...

A spokesperson from SBS says the loss of the buses will have some impact on its operations.

However, SBS will try to minimise inconvenience to commuters by redeploying buses where possible.

The total cost of the six buses is believed to be about $3 million - as each new double decker bus costs about half a million dollars.

That bus was a Habit if I am not wrong, but I think SMRT managed to revive the bus.

Other buses that were revived like TIB663U, TIB1021R, TIB1118X. TIB1105H still ongoing I think.

Really upset to see this happening.

Well, i also thought that since the fire could be confined to the sv 25 area, i was afraid maybe the other 3 buses are the perm LOs of sv 25, namely 9188J, 9174Z, and 9163E.
One shot kill all? Sad eh.
