HGDEP in fact had taken out several Volvo MK3 fleets from
services like 100, 109, 147, 156, 159, 163 etc. Some of which
became perm TRG. HGDEP also took some MK3s from BNDEP as well to
put it on TRG.
Mainly some Batch 1s became perm TRG too, sometimes Euro 5
will also do TRG. Purpose is to let the drivers familise with such
buses before K230UBs can be introduced to certain bus services.
K230UBs will be used for training for the forseeable future as
they are the model that SBST are introducing in large numbers. if
your new BC doesnt know how to drive a K230UB and your fleet
largely consists of K230s.. then how?
