Actually, the pictures shown are the thermo paint, which last
longer, usually 1~3years, depend on the traffic volume.
Actually it is very easy to understand for the thermo painting.
Firstly we burn the thermoplastic ( powder) till melting,
then we use another machine(the marker), with proper mechanism, the
melted thermo flowed long the line pre-marked.

There are also big marking machines, truck loaded, which has
high efficiency, either by flow or spary.
