This idea not bad as it links the residents of JW St 91 and 92
to Pioneer MRT. However with this Svc 242 can be amended
somehow.
The amendment can be as follows:
Boon Lay Int, JW Central 3, Jln Boon Lay, JW Ave 4, St 72, Ave 5,
Pioneer Rd Nth, JW St 63 (Pioneer MRT - Loop), St 61, St
71, Ave 5, St 72, Ave 4, Jln Boon Lay, JW Central 3 and Boon
Lay Int
The main purpose is to prevent duplications with the above
mentioned 245 in Jurong West St 91 and 92 as well as linking JW Ave
5 and St 71 to the nearest MRT station (Pioneer), also it will ply
Jurong West Pri Sch which currently only plies 257 (Which is
expected to shortened to Joo Koon Ter).
I feel that 242 should remain. 242 so packed le, should give
another service to redirect the traffic around. As for the 257 and
Jurong West Pri factor, theres an easy solution; switch services
around. So 179 will go via St 62 and 243 by St 63 instead, both
passing by Jurong West Pri.
