I think the purpose of plying twice along Jln Bahagia is to let the residents on that stretch have a link in & out of their street. Same arrangement as the old Macpherson terminal.

To me, it is more like Svc 18 awallowing up 7. If BDK can have links with JUE in the form of 197, I don't see why there can't be direct CLE-TAM bus links.

toa payoh is only served by lor 4 and lor 6 only after a few additions of sv.57 and 59 that other places are served, shlden svces that ply along lor 4 from toa payoh int like sv. 28, 73, 88, 155, 157, 159, 163 be enhanced to serve lor 5 and that means sv.235 can be withdrawn saving buses, waiting berths and parking spaces or lor 6 like sv.57 or lor 1 like sv.59, they can be rejoined at lor 6 (blk 237) bus stop

unless u combine 282 and 284 then u need 2 destos as the new svc can first start out from int to ave 4 (sv.284) then continuing on with sv.282 route at clementi ave 5 and clementi ave 4 junct.

well, we can see that SBS is fast getting rid of feeder buses..

266, 267, 290, 294, 323, 321, 322, 323, 326, 327, 328, 357, 371, 382, 385 in recent years only.. and soon, 274 and 275 may also be on their way.. all weree replaced by trunk services.. can charge higher fares but serve more areas abit winding routes

the only newest feeder is 372, or "townlink" 265.

235 and 231 can also be withdrawn with simple rerouting of some Toa Payoh Int services.. already, 57 and 59 can provide alternatives to 231 to Lorong 6

Brother,S7 BCs had enough stress plying Orchard Rd and you want it to extend till Tampines?S18 Although sounds a bit wasted,But there are still some pax who prefered to take this services

Because SBST services have to serve 2 SBST areas before going into 1 SMRT area. Same for SMRT.

I'd say the new ruling is crap. Routes like 854 would never have come about if such rules were there from the start.
