Are we ready to film our own bus documentary?

Try squeezing on a Svc 74 DD. Makes no difference.

Oceane SG

I dare not agree with you. If my perm 812 uncles can speed down Yishun Central at 65km/h using a bendy, I don't see why bendies on trunk services are slower than that.

I'd have agreed with you if you had said a Voith VSO instead.

ZYX2005 SG

yes s812 drivers r kee siao creatures. 804 are another ones. madness driving

I really liked the Superbus livery on 997A. It looked really nice.

These days no more such special livery already....

carbikebus SG

Any buses including the darts can speed,like i said the companies who screw everything up by detune the pick up and top speed to become slow.Their reason safety and save fuel where actual fact the engine will stress frequently.Those B9TLs & K230s are awaiting for the 1 year warranty expired,then after that they siao siao will detune the performances.

Dun bother to reply him,he knows nothing!Just a troll

eh bro relax larh

Raraken SG

Tibs long vehicles bus move fucking slow because its fucking too long. There's not enough seats and many person are standing and being squeezed side by side like sardines.

Double deckers bus FTW anytime.

Not true. Try taking a Volgren Bendy, preferably Voith and driven by seasoned SL. Confirm fast one. But IMO, Habits are WAYYYY too heavy.

TIB1224Y SG

Yup, Habits are like 15-16 tons...

Note that not all Habits have same weight. Out of two forumnite nick here, there is already a diff...

TIB1062Y-->16110kg...

TIB1224Y-->15990kg...

Diff: 120kg.

Food for thought lols... Both are Voith-ians...

While out of a random Volgren Bendy...

TIB1188T--> 15440kg...

550kg difference! Thats half a ton!

that's the reason why Volgren can speed. but at the same time, Volgren are gd noise insulator

I beg to differ. I don't think Volgren bodied buses have good noise insulation. A very good example would be the Volgren bodied artics. When those, especially with ZF transmission being whammed hard, part of Woodlands Interchange would be filled with a loud and high revving engine sound.

Oceane SG

Haha yeah... Hispano body heavy but it is VERY solid. Try crashing into the sides of it with even a lorry. One lorry did try that before. Bus got scratch, lorry front gone. =D

Never underestimate the power of Pininfarina.

some vso's can chiong.. hehheh.

but thats got to do wif bc having a heavy foot on the right pedal. lol.

just saw 9834 this morning flash past 9662G that i was in (119)^^

i love VSO's. haha

nenepokey SG

but for me i think if both Volgren and Habit start at the same point and speed down hill and flooring pedal, Habit might reach first. when it's heavier, there's mroe potential energy stored in it. so when it go down the hill, the potential energy change into kinetic energy. so that's why.

sry if u think that i'm having a science lesson abt energy here.

Eh Hyundai Matrix anyone?

Personally I don't think it would make any difference.

But...hey! We never know!

I must be pretty heavy then. I weigh 16120kg. 10kg more than 1062Y =X

Thats the weight of the big sacks of rice!

carbikebus SG

I did emphasized b4,its the authority that regulate the speeds and pick up,its redundant to have 350hp 1500nm with lock up speed @ kmh what

SBS7484P SG

B9TLs power wasted.
