TIB 1107 C cameoed 169 yesterday... not sure about today. Since it's a WLDEP SP, maybe check all bus services that plies the East from Woodlands that area?

I've just checked... the only SMRT bus service that goes around Bedok is 854. But it can't be possible since 854 operates on buses from AMDEP while TIB 1107 C is WLDEP SP.

Unless TIB 1107 C was on CHARTERED service or some other service...

Great news. I just remembered that (Since TIB 1020 T often cameos my home service 812),

TIB 1020 T (AMDEP 854) also has Capparoma Coffee 2nd Gen Advertisement.

Therefore, TIB 1020 T was the one which broke down in Bedok today while on 854. Case closed.

Around 2~3 pm. Was camping for one of the refurbished trains at AMK and I was facing the interchange and happened to see TIB 1107 C turn into AMK INT.

Summary of breakdown: Unknown
Details:
1. SBS 9581G was cameoing on Service 17 (as seen with Service 17 destos placed at the front of the BC's dashboard at time of witness) when it broke down at the bus bay at the bus stop outside Kampong Chai Chee CC.
2. By the time the breakdown was witnessed, all passengers had alighted from the bus and transfered to another bus. The breakdown sign was behind the bus.

I was with my friends, going for hari raya outing at hougang. I board svc 72 (outside hougang int) rego SBS 7420B at ard 2pm.

About 3 bus stops earlier, something happened. The air-con went off.BC tried to restart the engine but the air-con still didnt work. So, the bus broke down at around 2.15pm ( i cant remember what bus stop but the bus stop is served by svc 101 & 165, Hougang ave 4)... BC issued us complimentary ticket & waited for nxt svc 72...

I reboard the bus (SBS 7423T)... While waiting for nxt bus, I saw 2 bus fans, taking photo of the engine of the bus (as BC opened it up). I'm just wondering are u guys one of them ? Laughing

from the newspaper, 1x bendy on Sv 912 got stuck at the centre divider along Woodland Drive 50 this morning.. dunno how the BC drove up to the centre divider.

All I know is that the 912 bendy isn't TIB1129P. Saw it in the afternoon and was serving 902 in the morning

I kind of miss TIB 1107 C (Former AMDEP 169) and TIB 1109 Y (Former WLDEP 856). Both were driven by experienced and pro BCs who LOVED revving. Especially TIB 1109 Y. In the past when I used to take 856 from Yishun to Woodlands and happened to be on TIB 1109 Y, I always see the BC speeding and jamming the accelerator in the Industrial areas. Very Happy

SBS 507G (BR 154) engine really get from back to worst. Just today, I took this bus and the engine seems to give out super loud “rolling” sound when it accelerates. It seems like the bus engine is going to fall apart! More importantly, the bus seems to bent to one side.. Wa.. Maintenance needed leh !!
