Service 7 used to have mercedes O405 when HG operates them. Nothing special really.

Well, SBS168 was seen on Sv156 once last year.

HG and BNdepot had a share of the O405 when they were new. I can name you the services that used to operate the O405.

They were transferred out to other depots when the mark IIIs came in.
This happened not last year but years ago. At least 10 years ago.

Yes. I know that. A long time ago when Sv156 terminated in Serangoon, it was common to see 0405. Strangely, it happened last year, and I saw that with my own eyes.

iirc, bbdep used to hold O405’s in the early years before transferring them to amdep.

I think some of them might have gone over to JRBP too.

NAC Mercs ever served on 93. 3807 was one of them. Also, 350 had a full fleet of Mercs while other BN feeders had CRBs.

HGDEP routes like 62 & 84 also had them when they were new. IIRC, the Mercs were the first batch of buses that came pre-fitted with TL validators.

Yes. I know that too. Thats why it was strange to see 0405 on Sv156 as it is now under HG/BB.

Maybe they loved the easy steering the MBs offer. I still remember Sv 100 with a lot of Mercs. Almost whole Merc fleet. 103 had Mercs too if i'm not wrong but can anyone tell me which services used to terminate at Jln Kayu before it was closed?

Mercs are deployed on 103 and 163 and if I am not wrong, scanias deployed on 378, 379.

After the terminal has closed and 103 is rerouted to Serangoon while 163 is rerouted to Sengkang, Volvos are deployed into these two services.

Uncle, Svc 100 was Full Merdz.

103 also had merdz and LA serving along side each other.

yes.

59 was around since the 1980's, running between Bishan and Jln Kayu. It was shortened to Ang Mo Kio Int early in the 90's, handed over to Tibs on 17th Dec 1995.

It was extended to Sengkang Ter and renumbered 866 on 28th Feb 1999 then handed back to SBST on 25th July the same year under Hougang Depot. On 5th of December, it was renumbered as Service 86.

Anyway, anyone knows what bus type did Tibs deploy on it in 1996 to 1998? I only know Lances were used on 59/866 and 103 when it was new in 1998.
